GLP-2T 60mg
GLP-2T is a synthetic peptide analogue of glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2), a 33-amino-acid intestinotrophic peptide derived from the proglucagon gene. Native GLP-2 (1-33) is rapidly inactivated by dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) at the Ala-Asp bond; GLP-2T incorporates modifications designed to confer resistance to DPP-4 cleavage and extend its functional half-life in research models. In purified, lab-tested form it is supplied as a white lyophilized powder. GLP-2T was first characterized in the late 1980s as a proglucagon-derived peptide secreted alongside GLP-1 by intestinal L-cells. Research on GLP-2 and its long-acting analogues has centered on the GLP-2 receptor (GLP-2R), a Gs-coupled GPCR expressed in intestinal mucosa and central nervous system regions, with study programmes evaluating receptor binding kinetics, second messenger cascades, and intestinal epithelial cell biology in preclinical models. Full analytical specifications — including CAS number, molecular formula, molecular weight, peptide sequence, and HPLC-UV purity — will be published on this page following independent third-party Certificate of Analysis verification. Current status: COA testing in progress. ITide Labs supplies GLP-2T as a reference compound for laboratory research conducted by qualified professionals only.
